Khalia Young​ –​ As the Community Engagement Coordinator for BSEC, Khalia’s responsibility is to work​ collaboratively between Baltimore City residents and researchers to determine the best​ strategies for engagement. This means providing opportunities for individuals to share how they​ are experiencing the changing environment and assisting researchers with developing training​ and education workshops that align with community needs. She works closely with the BSEC​ team to develop 1-pagers that translate the science in a digestible fashion for community,​ establishes workshop templates for presentations and activities, and maintains new and existing​ partnerships…
