About the event
Welcome to the third annual Greater Baltimore Climate Summit!
Join us for a day filled with an insightful panel discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities focused on resilience, community, and action in the face of uncertainty.
The Greater Baltimore Climate Summit is hosted by a committee of professionals from The Butterfly Effect, Morgan State University, Baltimore Green Space, the Maryland Department of the Environment, the HBCU Environmental Justice Technical Collaborative, and more local organizations.
The summit is an innovative gathering—inspired by forward-thinking programming of California’s Strategic Growth Council—tailored to the unique needs of Baltimore City and its surrounding counties.
Aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 17, Partnerships for the Goals, GBCS aims to foster collaboration between government, academia, the private sector and civil society dedicated to enhancing the region’s environmental infrastructure and programming.
